Job description

South Florida Recruiters is working with a Fintech company, based in Miami, to identify a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and CFO, you will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analytical projects as well as have direct contact with Senior Executives for this dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present insightful financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Participate in development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range financial plans in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Maintain and develop KPIs.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying key drivers of variance and providing actionable insights to management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with departments across the organization, gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment of financial plans with operational goals.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management, providing timely and accurate insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-6 years of financial analysis and FP&A experience
  • Analytical skills with the ability to distill financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Power BI reporting tools experience
