Senior Financial Analyst - JLL

As a Senior Financial Analyst at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across our global commercial real estate platform. This position combines advanced financial modeling, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support critical business decisions that shape JLL's market leadership. You'll work directly with senior leadership teams, providing insights that influence investment strategies, operational efficiency, and client solutions. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for real estate investments, acquisitions, and portfolio analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with JLL standards
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards that inform strategic decision-making across business lines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Sourcing and others to analyze performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including budget vs. actual analysis and forecasting updates for assigned portfolios
  • Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to support client presentations and internal strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 6 years of progressive financial analysis experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas; experience with financial software systems (E-1, Bottomline, Peoplesoft)
  • Proven track record in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within finance or real estate environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting financial information to senior executives
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
  • Champion a culture of innovation by promoting the use of AI and automation to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and create scalable solutions
  • Lead the development and optimization of processes, ensuring effective documentation, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Drive accountability for deliverables across onshore and offshore teams through effective delegation, training, performance management, and communication
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership by providing timely updates, operational insights, and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Exhibit strong critical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively manage complex operational and reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification demonstrating commitment to financial excellence
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate or real estate investment management
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly as they relate to real estate
  • Experience with debt and equity financing structures, including construction loans, permanent financing, and joint venture arrangements
  • Familiarity with property management systems and lease administration processes
  • Project management experience with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and process improvements

Estimated compensation for this position:
85,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
