Job Summary

Join our team as a Field Service Technician in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you'll work with state of the art CNC machines, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs while building strong customer relationships. We equip you with the tools you need including a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, and covered gas expenses, so you can concentrate on excellence in service and turning customers into loyal advocates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct day-to-day field service, including installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC equipment within the local market.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues, providing sales support and basic training as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically, aligning all actions with business standards.
  • Take full ownership of service cases, projects, and related tasks, while maintaining accurate customer records and technical documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and client needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduates from technical schools (especially robotics programs) and/or individuals with hands-on mechanical backgrounds (e.g., mechanics, operators, programmers).
  • Experience in machine shops, technical programs or roles that require getting hands dirty and working in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with physical work, high temperatures (many shops lack AC), and have a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the field.
