As a Senior Field Service Technician, you'll be the technical expert responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Flygt wastewater pumping equipment and related systems throughout the territory. You'll work both independently and alongside customers, helping solve complex challenges while supporting critical wastewater infrastructure.

Pump & Equipment Service
  • Troubleshoot Flygt submersible and dry-pit pumps.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and service on wastewater pumping systems.
  • Conduct hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical testing of equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot control panel and electrical system issues.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service work.
  • Support startup and commissioning of wastewater pumping equipment.

Customer Support & Training
  • Provide onsite technical support to customers.
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and operational questions.
  • Communicate repair recommendations and service findings clearly and professionally.
  • Support customers both onsite and via phone when needed.

Field Operations
  • Operate and maintain a company service truck with crane and outriggers.
  • Perform service work at customer sites and Xylem Service Centers.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment safely.
  • Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.
