POSITION OVERVIEW
José Andrés Group is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Senior Event Sales Manager to lead event sales efforts across our Las Vegas portfolio, including Zaytinya, Bazaar Mar, and Bar Centro.
The Senior Event Sales Manager will be responsible for driving event revenue through the sale and coordination of private dining experiences, corporate events, social celebrations, restaurant buyouts, receptions, and other special events across all three concepts.
This position will manage the sales process from initial inquiry and prospecting through contracting, event planning, execution, and post-event follow-up, while ensuring every client receives an exceptional level of service reflective of José Andrés Group's commitment to hospitality.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and relationship-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the Las Vegas hospitality, convention, corporate, and social event markets. This individual will be comfortable developing new business, managing key accounts, responding to a high volume of inquiries, and partnering closely with restaurant operations, culinary teams, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to execute memorable events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Drive private dining and event sales revenue across Zaytinya, Bazaar Mar, and Bar Centro.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, partnerships, industry events, and relationship development.
  • Cultivate opportunities within the Las Vegas convention, corporate, hospitality, tourism, and social event markets.
  • Manage incoming event inquiries and respond promptly with customized proposals, menus, pricing, and venue recommendations.
  • Match clients with the appropriate José Andrés Group concept and event space based on their needs, guest count, budget, and desired experience.
  • Conduct site visits and showcase restaurant spaces, culinary offerings, beverage programs, and service capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and departmental sales goals, booking targets, and revenue expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize event revenue through menu enhancements, beverage packages, audiovisual services, décor, entertainment, and other event upgrades.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective and confirmed business and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Maximize cross-selling opportunities among Zaytinya, Bazaar Mar, and Bar Centro.

Client & Account Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, convention and meeting planners, destination management companies, hotels, casino and resort partners, luxury concierge teams, travel professionals, nonprofit organizations, and social event clients.
  • Build strong relationships within the Las Vegas hospitality and event-planning community to generate new and repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales and planning process.
  • Create personalized event experiences that reflect each client's vision, budget, objectives, and expectations.
  • Manage VIP, high-profile, and complex events with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate client profiles, event histories, preferences, and communication records within company sales and event-management systems.

Event Planning & Execution
  • Coordinate event details including menus, beverage selections, floor plans, timelines, guest counts, rental needs, audiovisual requirements, entertainment, and special requests.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate contracts, event orders, event summaries, deposits, payment schedules, and final billing information.
  • Communicate event details clearly and efficiently to restaurant leadership, culinary teams, service teams, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Lead event detail meetings and ensure operational teams have the information necessary to execute each event successfully.
  • Work closely with the leadership teams at Zaytinya, Bazaar Mar, and Bar Centro to ensure each event aligns with the individual concept's service standards and operational capabilities.
  • Attend key events as needed to support clients, facilitate communication, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Resolve client concerns and last-minute changes with urgency, creativity, and professionalism.

Business Development & Las Vegas Market Presence
  • Build awareness of José Andrés Group's private dining and event offerings throughout the Las Vegas market.
  • Represent José Andrés Group at networking events, hospitality industry gatherings, convention-related events, showcases, tastings, and community functions.
  • Build relationships with local hotels, casinos, convention partners, destination management companies, meeting planners, concierges, wedding planners, and other hospitality professionals.
  • Identify opportunities surrounding major Las Vegas conventions, conferences, sporting events, entertainment events, and citywide programs.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with venues, event professionals, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional campaigns, digital content, and event-focused initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing, event demand, and client preferences to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Zaytinya, Bazaar Mar, and Bar Centro, including menus, beverage programs, service standards, capacities, event spaces, and brand identities.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a senior resource and mentor to Event Sales Coordinators and other members of the sales team.
  • Support onboarding and training related to sales standards, systems, event processes, and client communication.
  • Partner closely with restaurant General Managers, Chefs, and operational leaders across all three Las Vegas concepts.
  • Participate in regular sales, revenue, operations, and forecasting meetings.
  • Support the Director of Event Sales with reporting, account development, strategic projects, and departmental initiatives.
  • Share market intelligence, client feedback, and revenue opportunities with restaurant and sales leadership.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, sales-driven, and hospitality-focused team environment.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of event sales, catering sales, hospitality sales, or private dining experience.
  • Previous experience in a senior sales role within a restaurant group, luxury hotel, casino/resort, catering company, event venue, or hospitality organization strongly preferred.
  • Las Vegas hospitality, convention, catering, or event-sales experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals.
  • Established relationships within the Las Vegas corporate, convention, hospitality, tourism, social event, wedding, or event-planning community are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of event contracts, deposits, food and beverage minimums, service charges, cancellation policies, and event billing.
  • Experience managing high-volume, luxury, VIP, and complex events.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and closing abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple events, venues, clients, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with culinary, operations, marketing, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM and event-management platforms, including Tripleseat, as well as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event and business needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
