Senior Project Manager – Lead Commercial and Federal Construction Projects


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal field and administrative leader, overseeing complex commercial and federal construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. In this role, you will drive project financial success, foster stakeholder relationships, and mentor junior project management staff. You will work with an integrity-driven organization that values delivering superior quality and supporting long-term professional growth.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct all project administrative and operational activities to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
  • Manage preconstruction setup, budget estimates, subcontractor purchasing, and permitting.
  • Track project data, change orders, cost reports, and submittals using Trimble ProjectSight and Spectrum software.
  • Oversee financial health by preparing schedules of values, applications for payment, and cost projection worksheets.
  • Conduct regular field inspections to ensure safety, contract compliance, and high quality standards.
  • Conduct project progress meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and superintendents.
  • Mentor and guide junior project team members, including Project Engineers and Administrators.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 10 years of experience managing commercial, government, or federal construction projects.
  • Proven experience working with a formal General Contractor.
  • Strong technical constructability knowledge and expertise reading construction documents and plans.
  • Proficiency in construction management software systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • OSHA, Fall Protection, Lift, or relevant safety certifications.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully mentoring and developing junior team members.
