Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C++/VxWorks - Secret ClearanceIntroduction:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ and VxWorks experience to support mission-critical defense programs. This role involves software development, integration, testing, and support of real-time embedded systems used in advanced weapon and missile system environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain C++ software applications
  • Support VxWorks-based real-time systems
  • Perform software integration and testing
  • Execute verification and validation activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Maintain technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle
Requirements:Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience with C++ software development
  • Hands-on experience with VxWorks RTOS
  • Strong understanding of embedded real-time systems
  • Experience with SMP and multi-core architectures
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Aegis BMD or AAW systems
  • Missile flight test experience
