The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Services organization is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Portfolio Solutions & Engineering Services, to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
Distribution Services strives to be the premier Parts Distributor in Aerospace and Defense, delivering unmatched quality, capability, and service for our global customers. The Technical Portfolio Operations group within Boeing Distribution Services serves to identify, prioritize, and execute business (operational) and technical (integration) efforts that unlock efficiency, enable first-time-quality, improve accountability, engender customer loyalty, and drive profitable growth for the Boeing Distribution business.
This exciting role will work cross-functionally as a senior leader, owning and managing the complete life cycles of Digital Portfolio Solutions and Engineering Technical Services & Support (ETSS) with direct influence on business, supplier, and customer outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complex technology enabled projects and execute them accordance with project management best practices and industry standards.
  • Own and lead the global program offerings for Engineering Technical Services and Support, providing design engineering as-a-service; embedded into business solutions that grow the business through technical product knowledge, cross-training, and value-added services and support.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the Distribution Services business to capture, prioritize, and implement Digital and AI enabled projects focused on safety, quality, business performance, cost reduction, efficiency gain, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Represent the business unit to define business requirements and business cases for technological developments, including capture of requirements, business process analysis, and use cases that drive business partners to source and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Define initiatives to improve data availability and visualization to derive key data insights, enabling the team to leverage meaningful data and intelligence solutions across functional leadership to inform and influence stakeholders, measure and validate business performance, and enable business transformation using data-driven decision making.
  • Coordinate with business and technology teams, integrating system and data requirements, such as system functions, output requirements, value streams, and process integrations, while incorporating best practices for change impact and change management.
  • Analyze and configure business and technical processes to enable process improvements supported by technology. Understand that technology and process functionality has an interconnected relationship and that each helps transform the other.
  • Develop and use collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of IPT objectives. Build rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverage the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.
  • Effectively communicate complex concepts and themes to non-technical audiences
  • Exemplify and foster collaborative ways of working that deliver results in a fast paced and high impact leadership role.
  • Accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understanding the cultures of the organization and apply this in a way that contributes to the organization's strategic plan and bottom line.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years in direct project or program leadership, collaborating across complex cross-functional organizations with an emphasis on product life cycle management and technical solutions architecture
  • 8+ Years in a People leadership role, managing a team of front-line managers and/or individual contributors
  • 5+ years defining and managing business requirements and aligning stakeholders
  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution in Aerospace and/or Defense industry
  • 1+ year experience with advanced data integration, data processing, and visualization tools including Snowflake, MongoDB, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
  • Experience with line of business applications such as ERP (S/4Hana), Warehouse Management, Planning and Procurement and business productivity systems.
