* Translate architecture into well-structured, production-ready code
* Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and contribute to overall engineering standards
* Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team
* Own end-to-end system integration across hardware, firmware, and cloud components
* Debug and optimize real-time embedded applications and communication interfaces
* Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of devices in production environments
* Contribute to automation, testing, and documentation efforts
* Participate in on-call rotation for escalated technical issues
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or equivalent experience

* Strong proficiency in Python, specifically for embedded or hardware-interfacing applications
* Experience working with Embedded Linux environments (Yocto or similar)
* Hands-on experience with embedded systems and firmware development
* Strong understanding of serial communication protocols (RS-485, Modbus, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
* Experience with real-time systems, including multithreading, inter-process communication (IPC), and timing constraints
* Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot hardware integration issues
* Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring engineers
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing or deploying IoT devices at scale (OTA updates, remote diagnostics)
* Familiarity with cloud-connected devices (MQTT, AWS IoT, or similar)
* Background in energy systems, industrial systems, or hardware-connected environments
* Experience with containerized deployments on embedded systems (Docker or similar)
* Exposure to CI/CD practices in embedded or hardware-adjacent environments
* Knowledge of grid-connected systems, power systems, or related standards
