Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure requirements are covered by defined test cases while ensuring quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team of software development, electrical engineering, control system development, information technology and other test engineers.
  • Lead test planning and execution within area of responsibility.
  • Provide technical mentorship to develop test engineers on team.
  • Identify and lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency, including increasing test automation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field, including 3 or more years in a vehicle software development or testing role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Experience solving complex technical problems using lean or six sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience with design & release of automotive or commercial vehicle systems.
  • Experience testing software against requirements using virtualization and/or automation.
  • Experience implementing AI into product development or testing processes.
  • Experience with Automotive SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) framework.
  • Experience with ISO26262.
  • Advanced degree or Professional Engineer license.
