  • The Senior Editor owns the full editorial workflow, from brief creation to final publish, using a proprietary AI platform to scale high-quality, patient-facing healthcare content across a large and rapidly growing topic library.
Job Summary
  • Write content briefs for every piece entering the production pipeline, framing the patient action and journey stage each page must serve.
  • Review and QA Editor-finalized drafts against the brief, editorial standards, and brand voice framework before publication.
  • Own the publish decision for all content, including new pages and existing-content test variants, maintaining a single publishing standard.
  • Document AI platform output quality over time, capturing issues caught at edit, draft patterns, and refinements to support model improvement and editorial accountability.
  • Co-own the topic pool with the Editor, curating against opportunities identified by the search analyst to connect opportunity to production.
  • Set and enforce voice, structure, and quality standards across the editorial team, coaching the junior Editor and any contributing writers.
  • Partner with the search analyst on opportunity prioritization, test design feedback, and post-publication performance review.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years of editorial leadership experience, with meaningful experience in healthcare, financial services, legal, pharma, or another regulated content category.
  • Hands-on experience using LLM-based tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Claude, or similar) in a live editorial production workflow, with demonstrated ability to QA and refine AI-generated drafts at volume.
  • Proven track record running a high-volume editorial program, shipping content at scale and on deadline without compromising quality standards.
  • Strong command of SEO best practices, including search intent, on-page structure, internal linking, schema, and an understanding of how LLM citation behavior differs from classical search.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience editing and managing other writers, delivering direct feedback, and setting team-wide editorial standards.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian Jira for workflow and documentation management.
  • Background in content operations or managing editor-level roles at a large-scale digital health or SEO content organization.
