Job description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Financial & Data Analyst at Jensen Infrastructure, you will play a central role in shaping how the business plans, forecasts, and makes informed decisions. This is a highly visible role that blends FP&A ownership with hands-on data modeling and Power BI development, partnering closely with finance, manufacturing, and plant leadership to turn complex operational activity into clear, forward-looking financial insight.

This is not a reporting coordination role. You will work directly with the data, build end-to-end models and dashboards, and own the analytics that leadership relies on to understand performance, anticipate outcomes, and guide strategic decisions across a growing, multi-site manufacturing organization.

Reporting to: VP of Finance

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

  • Owning company-wide budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, and long-range planning, including development of assumptions tied to volume, capacity, cost behavior, and operational drivers.
  • Performing meaningful P&L and variance analysis and translating results into clear financial narratives for executive and plant leadership.
  • Partnering with Manufacturing Finance and plant leaders to align forecasts with real-world operating conditions and business priorities.
  • Designing and maintaining Power BI models and dashboards by working directly with data from the enterprise data warehouse, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and decision-ready structure.
  • Building financial models and ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, pricing, capital decisions, and margin improvement efforts.
  • Continuously improving the quality, efficiency, and usefulness of financial and operational reporting across the organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, Senior Financial Analyst roles, or financial analytics within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI models and analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end, from raw data to executive-ready insight.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • A builder mindset with comfort working in ambiguity, imperfect data, and evolving business needs.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with finance and operations leaders across multiple locations.

Additional skills and experience that are highly valued:

  • Experience supporting multi-site or manufacturing operations.
  • Comfort working directly with SQL-based data sources or enterprise data warehouses.
  • Prior exposure to pricing, margin, or capital analysis in an operational setting.
