Job description

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for clients in the Kittanning area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule and who has experience working with Dementia clients.

Schedule:
  • Morning shifts (starting 10:30 AM)
  • Afternoon shifts (starting 12:00 PM)
  • Weekdays
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
  • Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
  • Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
  • At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
  • Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required)
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
