Job description

Sr. Manager Distribution& Logistics Retail Supply Chain Team

Reports to Sr. Director of Distribution & Logistics Retail Division

Essential Functions

Establishes and maintains relationships with Retail Steak n Shake and TheBeef Tallow Company distributor network and all external parties that supplyproducts or services to the Consumer Retail outlets.

Supports new product launches, Retail products, promotions for in store, pricingcommunications and for both seasonal and forecasting on all supplies and ourservice.

Works in the Arrowstream system to monitor third party distributioncenters and suppliers inventory, safety stock levels, obsolescence, pricediscrepancy and alerts management of potential exposure.

Supports Sr. Director in the design and implementation methods to gatherand manage supply chain data.

Proactively ensures ongoing, continuous uninterrupted product supply to theretail outlets.

Works additional hours as needed and responds to urgent communications, issuesor risk of supply with high level of urgency.

Reviews and analyzes data to identify areas in the supply chain forcontinuous improvement.

Works independently with minimal supervision. Drives projects andmaintains a high sense of urgency on identified projects, goals and anypotential risk to supply.

Return all emails and voice mails timely as required.

Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values andstandards.

Continuously looking for ways to increase professional development.

Regular and punctual attendance, which includes working normal businesshours that support the restaurant's needs.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours ofWork

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Mondaythrough Friday, 8:00 a.m. CST to 5:00 p.m. CST with lunch break during normalbusiness hours approximately 12:00 p.m. CST - 1:00p.m. CST

Required Education and Experience

  • Business or Supply Chain and or Logistics Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Retail Distribution experience required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in MS Office suite.
  • 5-8 years of experience with the supply chain within foodservice, restaurant and retail industry.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Supply chain and or Logistics Degree
  • Knowledge of supply chain software program, Arrowstream.
  • Consumer-related retail software
