Job description

We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Controller to serve as a strategic finance leader at a high-performing, engaging organization. The Corporate Controller will develop high-performing teams, build strong manager capability, and strengthen Network’s accounting function through clear leadership, accountability, and collaboration. This role is responsible for leading managers, modernizing processes, strengthening controls, and delivering accurate, timely financial results while advancing key finance transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting depth, disciplined execution, and leadership presence to balance day-to-day controllership with high-impact projects that improve scalability, efficiency, and business insight.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior controllership or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading accounting teams through managers while developing talent, strengthening accountability, and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including US GAAP, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and complex accounting matters.
  • Executive-minded, high-integrity leader with strong business acumen, sound judgment, project management capability, change leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy, timeliness, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience overseeing internal and external financial statements, consolidated financial analysis, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong background in internal controls, compliance, documentation, audit coordination, remediation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business-partner recommendations.
  • Experience driving finance transformation, process improvement, scalable workflows, and sustainable change adoption.
  • Strong ERP experience, with a minimum of five years required; SAP experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with MOS Expert Certification preferred.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, planning, and forecasting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, Adaptive Insights, or SAP Planning.
  • Strategic and operational leadership experience across A/R, credit, collections, billing, invoicing, reconciliations, aging, DSO, and write-offs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder influence, communication, and senior leadership partnership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • CPA Required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
  • Distribution industry experience preferred
  • 10-15 years of progressive accounting and financial experience

The Anticipated Base Salary Range for this position:

$170,000 - $190,000

Network has established a salary range for this position based on a combination of market data, industry standards, and specific requirements of the role.  The actual starting salary will vary based on the applicant's location, education, experience, skills and abilities.

In addition, to base salary, Network associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement contributions, opportunities for career growth and professional development.  Our compensation package is designed to reward both individual contributions and team success. ensuring that we attract and retain top talent.
