Role Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer will serve as a key technical resource responsible for enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and cloud operations. This role combines hands-on administration with strategic initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, security enhancement, operational resiliency, and cloud transformation. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded systems engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while driving continuous improvement across the IT environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise server, virtualization, and infrastructure environments.
  • Support Windows and Linux server platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to support business continuity.
  • Oversee enterprise storage platforms and infrastructure lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Lead and support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation efforts, and incident response activities.
  • Administer identity, access management, endpoint compliance, and device management platforms.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and participate in modernization efforts across public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Implement automation, operational efficiencies, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Maintain integrations between enterprise applications, collaboration platforms, and business systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and enterprise infrastructure operations
  • Experience managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience administering enterprise storage platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, identity management, and endpoint management technologies
  • Experience supporting security platforms, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure platforms
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience administering endpoint management solutions for Windows and Apple devices
  • Experience working within regulated or audited environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
  • Experience automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
  • Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and cost optimization best practices

Compensation & Benefits
