The Senior Manager, Asset Protection – Technology Platforms serves as the primary business owner and product leader for Walmart’s Asset Protection technology platforms, driving strategy, roadmap alignment, and platform adoption across the enterprise. This role partners closely with Asset Protection, Legal, Operations, and external technology providers to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric solutions that enhance investigative capabilities, improve operational effectiveness, and support enterprise risk management. This role is responsible for influencing platform direction, leading vendor relationships, managing complex initiatives, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable value to the business while meeting the evolving needs of field users and leadership teams.
About the team:
The Asset Protection Technology Platforms team integrates Asset Protection, Technology, Operations, and Business Strategy to deliver enterprise platforms supporting investigations, criminal intelligence, case and evidence management, reporting, and operational decisions across Walmart’s stores and supply chain. This team manages critical SaaS platforms, transforming operational requirements into scalable technology solutions that enhance investigative effectiveness, mitigate risk, and align with enterprise priorities. Focused on cross-functional collaboration and performance management, the team drives innovation and operational excellence to safeguard assets and support Walmart’s business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Serve as the primary product owner and business lead for the Asset Protection platforms.
  • Drive alignment between Asset Protection priorities and platform strategy, capabilities, and roadmap.
  • Partner with internal teams (Asset Protection, Technology, Legal, Operations) to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Lead vendor engagement to ensure quality delivery, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage directly with users and leaders to drive adoption, gather feedback, and champion platform improvements.
  • Present platform capabilities to field teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and workstreams, ensuring successful rollout, change management, and optimization
  • Ensure solutions balance usability, compliance, and risk management.
