The Role

What You'll Do:

Drive Growth & Win New Business

  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value sales opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed targets
  • Conduct advanced, consultative sales presentations

Strengthen Client Relationships

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts

Be a Product & Industry Expert

  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and innovations

Lead & Collaborate

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members

Own the Details

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Track performance metrics, expenses, and budgets
  • Support invoicing, reporting, and sales operations as needed

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally in the water industry or a technical B2B environment
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
  • Strong experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The estimated salary range for this position is $115k to $135k base plus commission. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
