Job description

We are accepting applications for a full-time Senior Superintendent to join our team!
Our construction Senior Superintendents are responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned commercial construction projects. They provide overall administrative and technical directions on projects and uphold company and project policies, ensure jobsite safety, maintain customer interface and ensure our projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. On average, they manage two to five multi-million-dollar construction projects per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Senior Superintendent may include supervisory responsibilities for field operations, including 2 or fewer direct reports.

Skills & Qualifications include:

  • Minimum eight years' industry experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong track record of commitment, engagement, and integrity
  • Exceptional client interaction skills and developing trade partner relationships
  • The ability to travel to project locations primarily located in Central Iowa; must be able to travel up to 6-8 hours from home and the occasional weekend and/or evening
  • Desire to represent the company at work and community events
  • OSHA 10 hour
  • Valid driver's license
