Trucking Customer Service Representative
Position Overview:
The Trucking Customer Service Representative provides exceptional service to trucking clients and agents by handling routine inquiries and supporting day-to-day policy servicing. This role is well-suited for individuals with a strong customer service foundation who are looking to build a career within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client and broker inquiries
  • Communicate policy updates, billing changes, and coverage details clearly and accurately
  • Manage certificates of insurance, including issuance and updates
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and basic transactions
  • Support clients with policy servicing needs and assist with the renewal process
  • Guide clients through online account access and navigation
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the agency management system (e.g., Applied Epic)
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership as appropriate
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Property & Casualty license in the state of business, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Prior customer service experience required; insurance industry experience strongly preferred, ideally within trucking
  • Basic understanding of insurance terminology and policy structures is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience with Applied Epic and CSR24 or similar agency management systems preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts
  • Professionalism and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law
