About the Opportunity
We are searching for a Senior Director of Business Development for our client, a global enterprise IT and Business Process Services (BPS) leader, helping organizations accelerate growth through Digital Transformation, AI, Intelligent Automation, Data, Cloud, and Application Modernization.
The ideal person will be a high-impact Business Development Leader (Hunter) who excels at driving net-new business in the Retail/CPG and Travel sectors within the U.S. This role is pivotal in shaping and closing large, complex, multi-year transformation business accounts delivered through global, distributed delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive new logo acquisition (hunter role) across Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods /CPG, and Travel verticals
  • Identify, shape, and convert opportunities across:
    • Digital transformation programs
    • AI & intelligent automation initiatives
    • Data & analytics platforms
    • Cloud transformation and application modernization
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of large accounts aligned with growth targets
  • Lead end-to-end full lifecycle sales strategies, including opportunity origination, solutioning, pricing, negotiation, and closure
  • Co-create differentiated solutions in collaboration with:
    • Industry advisors and analysts
    • Hyperscalers and ecosystem partners
    • Internal consulting, delivery, and solution teams
  • Position integrated IT + BPS managed services offerings leveraging automation and AI
  • Engage and influence C-level executives and business stakeholders
  • Bring thought leadership on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Represent the organization in industry forums, client workshops, and strategic pursuits

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • ~15 years of total experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct hunting experience in the U.S. market
  • Proven experience selling IT services and BPS/managed services in a global delivery model
  • Strong track record of:
    • Converting multi-year transformation accounts > $15M
    • Winning and Managing additional business with $5M-$10M ACV (annual contract value)
  • Demonstrated success in multi-threading and multi-converting complex business deals
  • Experience in co-creating solutions with:
    • Advisors and analysts
    • Technology ecosystem partners (cloud, data, AI platforms)
  • Deep domain expertise in Retail/CPG and/or Travel & Hospitality
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Digital, Data & AI-led transformation
    • Cloud migration and modernization
    • Intelligent automation and BPS transformation
  • Strong network of enterprise clients and decision-makers in the U.S.
  • Background from Tier 2 IT services/BPS firms preferred
