Role - Senior DataStage Developer/Lead

Location: McLean, VA

Work Mode: 5 Days Onsite

Role Summary:

Seeking a Senior DataStage Developer/Lead to develop, enhance, and support enterprise ETL applications using IBM DataStage 11.x, troubleshoot data issues, and contribute to Agile development and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs and data solutions.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and optimize Unix/Shell scripts and ETL processes.
  • Analyze business requirements/user stories and deliver quality solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Automate processes and improve application performance/stability.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of DataStage/ETL experience, preferably DataStage 11.7.
  • Strong UNIX, Shell Scripting, SQL (DB2/Sybase/Oracle) skills.
  • Experience with Control-M, Jira, and Git.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Java and SAS experience.
  • Agile team experience.
  • Mortgage industry experience.
