DATA INTEGRATION & AUTOMATION ANALYST

Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders / US Neurology Associates
Department: Technology / Operations
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Location: On-Site, Plano / Frisco

The Data Integration & Automation Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders (TIND) and US Neurology Associates (USNA). This role improves organizational efficiency by integrating systems, automating repetitive processes, developing scalable data pipelines, and implementing technology solutions that enable better decision-making across the organization.

Working closely with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Marketing, Clinical Leadership, and Business Intelligence, this hands-on technical role develops practical solutions that eliminate manual work, improve data quality, and support USNA's continued growth and acquisition strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Integration

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between clinical, financial, operational, marketing, and third-party business systems.
  • Develop SQL-based workflows and scalable data pipelines.
  • Build and maintain APIs and secure data exchanges.
  • Monitor integrations, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
  • Develop scalable integration architecture that supports organizational growth.

Workflow Automation

  • Identify manual business processes that can be improved through automation.
  • Design and implement automated workflows.
  • Automate recurring reports, file transfers, notifications, and operational processes.
  • Develop sustainable automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve productivity.
  • Monitor and optimize automated workflows.

Internal Application Development

  • Develop lightweight internal applications, scripts, utilities, and workflow tools.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Prototype, test, implement, and support internally developed applications.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.

Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technology

  • Evaluate AI and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Prototype AI-powered workflows and assistants.
  • Identify responsible AI opportunities across the organization.
  • Help establish best practices for AI adoption.

Acquisition & System Integration

  • Support onboarding of newly acquired physician practices.
  • Assist with technology assessments during acquisition due diligence.
  • Develop repeatable integration playbooks.
  • Standardize technology and reporting across acquired practices.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Resolve enterprise data quality issues.
  • Develop validation processes that improve data accuracy.
  • Maintain documentation of integrations and data flows.
  • Support enterprise data governance.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Marketing, Clinical Leadership, and Business Intelligence.
  • Translate operational challenges into practical technology solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to prioritize high-impact initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of systems integration, automation, or data engineering experience.
  • Strong SQL, API integration, relational database, and scripting experience.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant experience for Senior Analyst consideration.
  • Healthcare experience, including eClinicalWorks or a similar EMR.
  • Power BI, cloud platforms, AI automation, and HL7/FHIR experience.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions and system integrations.
