Northern Virginia (Ashburn)


$190,000–$220,000 + 20% Bonus + Equity + Exceptional Benefits


GH Engage has been asked to identify a Data Center Operations Manager for one of North America's leading data center owner/operators.


This is an outstanding opportunity to lead engineering operations across a flagship mission-critical campus in the world's largest data center market. You'll join an organisation renowned for investing in its people, embracing innovation and providing genuine long-term career progression.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of critical operations, ensuring maximum uptime, operational excellence and exceptional customer experience across a state-of-the-art data center campus.


Working closely with senior leadership, you'll influence operational strategy while leading a team of experienced Critical Facility Managers, Chief Engineers and Critical Facilities Technicians.


Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and facilities operations across a mission-critical campus
  • Drive uptime, reliability and operational excellence
  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing engineering teams
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, commissioning and capital projects
  • Manage operational budgets and performance metrics
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory and operational standards


What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading engineering operations within mission-critical facilities
  • Data center experience strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management
  • Passion for developing people and driving continuous improvement
