This Senior Data Analytics Analyst works out of our Des Plaines, IL location in Abbott Molecular Diagnostics. Abbott Molecular Diagnostics is a leader in molecular diagnostics and the analysis of DNA, RNA, and proteins at the molecular level.

The Senior Data Analytics Analyst leverages data and analytical tools to support senior leadership by extracting valuable insights and making data-driven decisions for an organization. This role specializes in business analytics services such as business intelligence, market and customer research and analysis, and dashboard creation for business units and integrated services groups

What You'll Work On

  • Design, communicate, and execute project plans that deliver business objectives on time and within budget.
  • Define project scope, schedules, resource requirements, budgets, and success metrics while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Monitor project performance, track milestones, and resolve operational challenges to minimize delays and ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and specialized resources to support project deliverables.

  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Proven project experience utilizing data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Basic programming experience with one or more languages, including Python, R, Java, C++, or equivalent.
  • Working experience with SQL and database applications.
  • Experience leading or supporting medium to large-scale projects.
