Job description

Senior Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Razor is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide advanced cybersecurity and information systems security engineering support for complex, mission-critical U.S. Government environments. This position will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for security architecture, system security engineering, technical assessments, risk mitigation, and the integration of cybersecurity requirements throughout the system lifecycle. Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Qualifying ISSE experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. CISSP certification is required, along with applicable DoD 8570 IASAE requirements. Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements. Responsibilities: * Lead and perform technical security assessments of complex computing environments * Identify system vulnerabilities and non-compliance with established cybersecurity and information assurance requirements * Develop and recommend mitigation strategies for identified security risks * Establish, validate, and verify system security requirements and security designs * Design, develop, implement, and integrate cybersecurity systems and security components * Engineer security solutions for networking, computing, and complex multi-enclave environments * Integrate information assurance and cybersecurity requirements into operational systems * Provide security engineering guidance to architects, systems engineers, developers, and other technical stakeholders * Develop and evaluate security architectures and trusted relationships between external systems * Assess and mitigate cybersecurity threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle * Lead or support security planning, assessments, risk analysis, risk management, and authorization activities * Review security and authorization documentation for technical completeness and compliance * Apply advanced system security engineering principles throughout the engineering lifecycle * Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and cybersecurity teams * Support Government stakeholders with security engineering recommendations and technical analysis Qualifications: * Extensive experience as an ISSE supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity * Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or qualifying experience substitution * CISSP certification * Applicable DoD 8570 IASAE compliance * Advanced experience with system security architecture and engineering * Experience conducting technical security assessments and vulnerability analysis * Experience designing security solutions for complex and classified environments * Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation * Experience supporting system authorization and security compliance activities * Ability to provide senior-level cybersecurity engineering guidance across multidisciplinary teams * Strong technical leadership, documentation, communication, and analytical skills Desired Skills: * Experience supporting highly classified DoD or Intelligence Community systems * Advanced RMF and authorization experience * Experience engineering security across multiple enclaves and classification levels * Knowledge of cross-domain and trusted-system relationships * Experience developing enterprise security architectures * Experience serving as a senior cybersecurity engineering advisor or technical lead Employer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
