What you'll do...Role summary: The Senior Manager, Credit Strategy & Analytics, leads the development and execution of credit strategies, decisioning frameworks, and analytics that enable the sustainable growth of Marketplace Seller Services while minimizing credit losses. This role partners closely with Product, Data Science, Seller Services, Billing, Finance, and Engineering to develop scalable controls, influence strategic priorities, and operationalize risk mitigation capabilities. Responsible for driving complex cross-functional initiatives, evaluating emerging risks, and shaping the evolution of the Credit Risk function, the role fosters innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making to strengthen Marketplace Payments and support long-term business growth.
About the team:
The Marketplace Payments & Financial Services team enhances the Marketplace ecosystem by enabling reliable seller payouts, driving monetization, and expanding financial products while managing financial and compliance risks. The Credit Risk team supports sustainable growth by developing strategies, controls, and decision frameworks to identify and mitigate credit risk. Collaborating closely with Product, Seller Services, Data Science, Billing, Legal, and Operations, the team balances seller experience with responsible risk management. Operating in a fast-paced environment, it leverages data, analytics, and scalable decisioning to minimize credit losses, strengthen controls, and support innovative financial offerings and long-term business growth.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and execute credit risk strategies, decisioning frameworks, and policies that enable the sustainable growth of Marketplace Seller Services while minimizing credit losses.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Seller Services, Finance, Billing, and Engineering to design, implement, and optimize scalable credit risk controls.
  • Lead complex, end-to-end initiatives to develop credit limits, prepay strategies, reserves, service-level controls, and early warning capabilities.
  • Leverage internal data, predictive models, and external risk signals to assess emerging risks, improve decision quality, and drive data-informed recommendations.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, evaluate strategy effectiveness, and continuously refine credit risk decisioning to balance seller growth with responsible risk management.
