What your role at EXP looks like

EXP is seeking an experienced Senior Highway Project Manager for our Tampa, FL office. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in delivering complex highway and transportation projects. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of highway and multimodal transportation projects, from concept development through final design and construction.

Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and quality assurance for multiple concurrent projects.

Provide seniorlevel technical guidance on highway design, civil engineering, and transportation engineering.

Direct and review the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, bid packages, designbuild packages, and bridging documents.

Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring strong communication, responsiveness, and longterm relationship development.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including FDOT, municipalities, contractors, and partnering consultants.

Ensure compliance with AASHTO, MUTCD, FDOT standards, and other applicable design and regulatory requirements.

What your experience looks like

  Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  15+ years of progressive experience in highway and transportation project delivery.

  Minimum 5 years of postregistration experience as a licensed Professional Engineer.

  Licensed PE in the State of Florida.

  Demonstrated success managing highway projects, including oversight of multidisciplinary teams.

  Strong technical background in highway design, transportation engineering, and FDOT agency standards.
