Job description

ECS is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work remotely.
ECS is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate office environments and three geographically distributed data centers. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing network systems that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in multi-site networking, data center architecture, and enterprise-grade routing/switching, along with a proactive approach to reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across ECS corporate offices and data centers
  • Manage core networking components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Ensure high availability and performance of WAN/LAN connectivity between sites
  • Support data center networking, including spine-leaf architecture, VLANs, VXLAN, and segmentation strategies
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments
  • Implement and maintain network security controls (ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
  • Collaborate with systems, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to support hybrid infrastructure
  • Perform capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management of network hardware/software
  • Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
  • Support incident response and root cause analysis for network outages

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000
