Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, equipment, and components. This position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment. They will work with a variety of tools and technologies, troubleshoot problems, and conduct tests to ensure equipment is operating correctly.
Job Description
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components
  • Conduct research to ensure that designs are safe, efficient, and cost-effective
  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic control systems and instrumentation
  • Test equipment for faults, diagnosing problems, and replacing or repair defective parts
  • Perform periodic calibration of instruments and devices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Requires bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of experience with electrical systems and components.
  • Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, Microsoft Excel)Manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bending, kneeling, crouching or walk move throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Must be able to climb ladders, access elevated platforms, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or tools up to 25-50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, instruments, and computer equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read schematics, inspect electrical components, and perform detailed work.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection.
  • Tolerance for working in environments with noise, heat, dust, and varying temperatures.
