Job description

Controller Location: Central Pennsylvania Juniata, Mifflin, Centre Counties

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Controller to join a growing organization in Central Pennsylvania. This role will play a critical leadership position, overseeing core accounting functions while supporting strategic financial planning and operational decisionโ€‘making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of general accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with leadership to drive financial performance
  • Provide financial planning & analysis (FP&A) support, including variance analysis and financial modeling
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of payroll processing and related reporting
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support interactions with lenders, including those related to asset-based lending (ABL) structures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, particularly within a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
  • 6โ€“8 years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership or similar leadership responsibilities in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to or experience with asset-based lending (ABL) highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
