They ensure that all written material meets quality standards, aligns with the company's voice, and engages the target audience. In addition to editing and proofreading, they often manage a team of writers, develop content strategies, and coordinate with other departments to achieve organizational goals. Senior Content Editors also analyze content performance and make recommendations for improvements. Their role is crucial in maintaining consistency and effectiveness in an organization's communications.

Job description

Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI, providing cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers.

About the Role

You'll lead and scale Nscale's global editorial ecosystem, driving demand through strategic content programs and building an AI-first content engine that accelerates growth. Location: Bay Area or New York.

This role sits at the heart of the Content Team and focuses on three pillars:

  • Lead and scale the global editorial calendar and workflows, ensuring consistent, high-quality programming across markets and audiences
  • Own end-to-end content strategy and execution for individual editorial programs (insights articles, reports, thought leadership, customer storytelling)
  • Champion editorial standards, governance, and brand voice consistency across channels and formats (written, video, audio)
What You'll Be Doing

Own Editorial Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own end-to-end management of editorial programs, from strategy and roadmap through execution, distribution, and performance optimization
  • Define and evolve Nscale's editorial vision and narrative architecture, ensuring alignment with company positioning and commercial priorities
  • Lead a pipeline of content to deliver scalable, repeatable programming aligned to growth and revenue targets
  • Develop multi-quarter editorial strategies tied to product launches, brand moments, and demand generation initiatives

Lead Content Production & Governance

  • Oversee content workflows from ideation to publication to promotion, ensuring compliance with brand, regulatory, and industry requirements
  • Contribute to long-term content infrastructure, governance frameworks, and knowledge management systems

Drive Thought Leadership

  • Partner with executive leadership and subject matter experts to translate complex AI infrastructure topics into compelling, differentiated thought leadership

Own SEO & Growth

  • Build and optimize topic clusters, growth hubs, and SEO strategy to scale traffic, authority, and conversion

Measure & Report

  • Establish KPIs and performance dashboards; own reporting, insight generation, and continuous improvement loops

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Design, Comms, and Demand Generation to ensure integrated campaign execution
  • Manage and scale external partners, agencies, and freelance networks; set quality benchmarks and hold contributors accountable
  • Mentor and train writers, editors, and creatives

Champion AI-First Workflows

  • Introduce and operationalize AI tools to enhance editorial velocity, research depth, and production efficiency
About You
  • 10+ years of experience in editorial leadership or content marketing (B2B tech or AI strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience building and scaling end-to-end editorial programs in high-growth environments
  • A strategic thinker who understands how content drives pipeline, brand equity, and long-term market positioning
  • Deep knowledge of B2B and technology sectors โ€” able to make complex AI and infrastructure topics clear, credible, and inspiring
  • Experienced partnering with senior stakeholders and executives to shape narratives and thought leadership
  • A natural storyteller who blends creativity with data-driven insight and commercial awareness
  • Strong editorial instincts paired with operational rigor and project management excellence
  • Passionate about AI-enabled workflows and experimentation
  • Proficient with tools such as Notion, Figma, Google Analytics, and modern content/SEO platforms
  • Energized by fast-paced, high-ownership environments where you build systems, not just assets
