Position Summary:
We're looking for an Associate Producer to join the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. In this role, you will tell our exciting story through the producing and editing of various segments. The Associate Producer will be responsible for editing segments, features, and other content, for distribution of Pelicans and Saints programming on Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop long and short form video features for both teams' GCSEN programming
  • Shoot and edit interviews with both teams' players, coaches, and front office staff
  • Work closely with Senior Content Producer and Senior Network Producer to develop exciting and cutting-edge content for live events and studio shows
  • Participate in new content development including idea creation, research, and concepts to help create content for GCSEN
  • Coordinate content from our media studio with on air talent
  • Produce podcasts with talent for air on GCSEN
  • Stay on top of current events related to the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a similar position (producer, editor, videographer), preferably from within the sports industry or live entertainment industry
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and the post-production environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, a keen visual eye and strong sense of what works with web videos and social video trends
  • Provide web links to completed works and/or demo reels as part of your application. You can include as a link on your resume or as additional information.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for [audience type, e.g., internal collaboration, fan engagement, partner communication].
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; proactive and flexible.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, adapt quickly to change, and uphold professionalism in public-facing settings.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
