Position Description

Precision Collective is seeking a highly experienced Senior Graphic Designer with a strong branding and print design focus to join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Initiatives Office (SIG) at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role is essential in shaping and communicating the DLAโ€™s strategic mission through visually impactful designs that reach diverse audiences, including stakeholders within the Department of Defense (DoD), the federal government, and the public.

The Senior Graphic Designer will lead brand development, create high-quality print and digital materials, and deliver polished visual storytelling that supports senior leadership decision-making and high-profile initiatives. This position requires a polished, detail-oriented professional with advanced design skills, strong project leadership ability, and a proven track record of producing mission-aligned visual communications in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
  • Lead the design and development of branding materials that uphold and enhance DLAโ€™s visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organizationโ€™s strategic objectives.
  • Design and produce high-quality printed materials such as brochures, posters, programs, and promotional content for internal and external use.
  • Create infographics, layouts, storyboards, and typographic solutions that distill complex information into clear and compelling visual narratives.
  • Develop polished presentations and briefings for senior leadership, utilizing advanced visual storytelling techniques to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with SIG and senior staff to conceptualize and execute tailored graphic solutions for high-profile initiatives and events.
  • Maintain an organized archive of graphic assets, ensuring all materials are tagged and stored for ease of access and retrieval.
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and impact of all deliverables.
  • Attend weekly meetings and provide updates on project progress, maintaining strong communication with the SIG team.
  • Collaborate on graphic design concepts and maintain a centralized SharePoint repository of best-in-class visual and communications materials.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field; or associate degree with equivalent design experience upon portfolio review.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a proven track record in branding and print production.
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, typography, and print-focused projects is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for content management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Security Clearance Requirements

Applicants should have an active/current Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.

Location & Travel

This is a full-time position based at Ft. Belvoir, VA, with minimal travel expected.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional proficiency in video or animation software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Animate).
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal government strategic communications and branding efforts.
