Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Computer Systems Analyst to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Client Agency is Customs & Border Protection
  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Analysts should have a working knowledge of software platforms, database environments, structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and cost accounting to plan the system.
  • Uses sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.
  • Codes and tests software based upon software specifications and designs.
  • Provides software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software and system development process.
  • Must be able to specify the inputs to be accessed by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to meet the users' needs.
  • Provides technical direction/assistance to subordinate staff.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability.(Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
