Job description

About Us:

Mission Statement: In partnership with parents and churches, we integrate faith with learning using biblical principles to capture each student's heart and mind for Christ.

We are dedicated to academic excellence with a uniquely Christian perspective-one that places Jesus at the center of everything we do and acknowledges the Bible as our ultimate authority. We are committed to supporting, not supplanting, parents' God-given role and we come alongside students to help them find and develop their God-given talents for His glory.

We are a growing, non-denominational Christian school that has faithfully served students in grades K3-8 since 1990 and has seen recent enrollment of 145 students. In the 2026-27 school year, we will expand to include grades 9 and 10 and move into a new 220,000 sq. ft. facility in the heart of West Bend, Wisconsin (population 30,000), approximately 40 miles northwest of Milwaukee, to support the launch and growth of our high school. This new campus will allow us to significantly expand both our academic and athletic programs. We are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and participate in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.

Position Available:

Science High School Teacher (Full or Part Time)

Requirements:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus.
  • Be an active member of a local church community.
  • Fully embrace a Christian perspective on education, and fully supports the school's mission, vision, core values, and statement of faith.
  • Hold a current Wisconsin teacher's license or work to bring it up to date within a specified time period.
  • Provide exemplary instruction for students using a wide range of strategies and techniques.
  • Demonstrates a reasonable level of computer literacy, having a basic proficiency in doing word processing, creating and using a spreadsheet, e-mailing, Google Classroom, etc.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Create a learning environment that reflects a biblical worldview and supports the needs of each student.
  • Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
  • Integrate Biblical principles throughout the curriculum and activities.
  • Work within the framework of Redemptive Discipline as specified in our handbooks.
  • Establish and maintain open communication by effective, professionally written communication and by conducting conferences.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and daily morning devotionals.
  • Serves in supervisory duties as assigned (recess, for example).
