Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Database Analysts (Cloud/Engineered System DBA) in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for database encryption with HSM (OKV) and configuration, and asset discovery using OEM tools. Perform robust database backup and recovery, along with Oracle data replication using Exadata, ZDLRA, Data Guard, and GoldenGate. Support high performance financial transaction processing applications, including debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Amex payment switching and mobile payment acceptance. Develop long term database solutions and strategies aligned with the organization's future technology roadmap. Implement database performance tuning and optimization, including table partitioning, storage planning, and space optimization. Integrate and provide production support for databases running on Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA). Collaborate with the Payment Software application team on issues and with project teams on new initiatives. Integrate cloud databases into the system architecture while supporting high performance financial transaction processing for major card brands including Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Develop requirements from project inception through completion for business and IT subject matter areas spanning simple to complex systems. Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery solutions across multiple availability zones.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: configuring storage disks; monitoring usage and installing with Cloud technologies (Azure) and configuring Oracle databases; setting up bi-directional data replication between 2 availability zones with Golden Gate Replication; setting up disaster recovery solution with RPO and RTO with Oracle Dataguard; utilizing Oracle Exadata/ZFS for Appliance patching/database install & configuration; working with Oracle Zero Data Loss to meet database recovery point objectives & recovery time objectives; and supporting payment applications with Postgres SQL. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of related work of experiences as satisfying the Bachelor's degree requirement.
