Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Senior Console Operator to monitor and respond to events on consoles related to mainframe and network management. The role involves troubleshooting incidents, supporting daily operations, and ensuring service levels in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Monitor and respond to events on consoles related to mainframe, production control, network, and servers.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe, network, and production control incidents.
โ€ข Respond to incoming calls from I.S. Help Desk and support teams to assist with incident resolution.
โ€ข Implement standard procedures and manage incidents in the production environment.
โ€ข Maintain knowledge of critical applications and error recovery procedures.
โ€ข Support daily operational procedures to maintain 24x7 environment service levels.
โ€ข Interpret computer-generated messages, determine appropriate actions, and follow standard procedures.
โ€ข Implement production system schedule changes while adhering to change control guidelines.
โ€ข Deliver internal and external customer support.
โ€ข Interact with vendors and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
โ€ข Monitor the production environment for alerts and network/server activity.
โ€ข Provide incident support, including communication, trending, and tracking.
โ€ข Document incidents with appropriate detail in the trouble ticketing system.
โ€ข Support troubleshooting and analysis of production and network incidents.
