MTSI is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will oversee the performance of contracted support building out government cloud-based infrastructure including software platforms, underlying services, cybersecurity, DevSecOps pipelines, and collaboration services supporting multiple AI-enabled software programs Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Guide the design, development, and enhancement of diverse software systems, including analytics, algorithms, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, and business management tools Contribute to system design by analyzing hardware/software trade-offs, promoting software reuse, integrating COTS/GOTS solutions, and performing requirement analyses from system-level specifications to individual components Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards Oversee multiple software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any project Advise for and participate in technical and programmatic reviews for assigned programs Prepare and assess technical and programmatic products and collaborate with stakeholders to support associated reviews Participate in technical/engineering and program meetings, support analysis, make recommendations, and track actions to closure Support cost estimation, technical risk management, and resource planning for systems engineering activities Oversee requirements traceability and validation, ensuring designs meet specifications and mission objectives Ensure all systems align with DoD standards, military specifications, risk management guidelines, and cybersecurity requirements Required: 15+ years of engineering / systems engineering experience 5 years in SAP/SCI environments 5 years working with classified cloud deployments Experience managing migrations between cloud developments and hybrid/multi-cloud environments, balancing multiple vendors performing different cloud-based software engineering and development functions, and creating / leading security and cybersecurity implementation work. (Highly Desired) Integration with or work directly on Intelligence Community IT systems and cloud infrastructure Familiarity with policy, legal, and security implications of multi-agency data processing Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Clearance Requirements: Current/active Top Secret/SCI; Current or recent DoD SAP access Subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $230,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
