Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Pega platform deployment and administration on Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, containerizing Pega applications, and deploying solutions on AWS-based private cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments
  • Configure and manage Pega externalized services including Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
  • Deploy and administer containerized Pega applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Helm
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Configure and manage highly available Kafka environments - topic management, partitioning, replication, security, and monitoring
  • Manage OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters including indexing, retention, and search optimization
  • Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
  • Support production environments, incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and architecture teams
