Job description

Senior Client Service Associate

The Senior Client Service Associate plays a critical role in providing high-level support to both clients and advisors. This position manages complex client interactions, processes detailed account tasks, and handles escalated issues, ensuring seamless account openings, money movements, and paperwork processing. With a comprehensive understanding of investment products and regulations, the Senior Associate may provide basic financial advice if Series 65 certified. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Custodian interaction & paperwork processing:
    • Process account openings, funding, deposit electronic checks, money movements, 401(k) rollovers, process tasks with Custodians.
  • Maintain a fundamental understanding of the firm's investment offerings in order to contribute to portfolio discussions.
  • Schedule client meetings
  • Organize advisory team meetings and events.
  • Involvement in company committees and/or firm-wide initiatives.
  • Receive client calls and resolve questions or issues as needed.
  • Prepare for and provide follow-up for client meetings:
    • Prepare client forms and financial reports in advance of client meetings.
    • Attend meetings to take notes and send a summary to both the client and the advisory team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.
  • Lead internal coordination across departments to ensure all client tasks/follow-up is completed in a timely manner.
    • Drive proactive process improvements for advisors and CSA team members.
  • Responsible for cash transfers, wires, data maintenance, reporting and trading as needed
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and quality control of CRM.
  • Execute client appreciation and retention activities
  • Upon obtaining the Series 65 license:
    • Give basic financial advice
    • Assist with 401(k) rollovers
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Series 65 licensing
  • Completion of CFP®
Skills and Competencies:
  • Demonstrate strong and effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.
  • Ability to work in a team based/collaborative environment.
  • Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Adherence to all compliance policies & procedures.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Compensation Range:

$70,000 - $85,000
