Global Commercial Disputes Associate Attorney โ€“ Wilmington, DE

Direct Counsel is seeking a Global Commercial Disputes Associate to join a leading international law firm in its Wilmington, Delaware office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level litigation attorney to work on sophisticated commercial disputes within a nationally recognized practice.

Position Overview
The associate will support a global commercial disputes practice handling complex litigation matters, including breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. The role offers hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and exposure to high-stakes matters for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on substantive and procedural issues

  • Assist with case strategy, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on multi-jurisdictional disputes

Qualifications

  • Active membership in the Delaware Bar (required)

  • 1โ€“3 years of law firm experience handling complex commercial litigation matters
