The Sampson County Senior Services department is looking for a dedicated individual to provide program support and assistance to senior citizens in our community as our next Senior Center Manager.  What you'll do:The Senior Center Manager works under the general direction of the Nutrition Program Manager and the Senior Services Director. With the help of this strong support team, you will:Develop and implement programs to train and lead a dynamic team comprised of the Senior Center Assistant and Senior Center volunteersCoordinate activities with programs inside and outside the Senior CenterPromote public awareness of activities and programs that help address community needsParticipate in various committees to contribute to agency and program developmentDevelop goals and objectives essential to the functions of the Senior Center What we're looking for: Strong professionals passionate about public serviceProven ability to work well independently and as a teamAbility to establish trust and maintain effective working relationships with team members, clients, and local partners through strong interpersonal skillsLeaders with the ability to supervise programs and special events for senior citizens A Bachelor's degree and moderate experience in related field is preferred.
