Overview: The Senior Citizen Director in Reeves County plays a pivotal role in developing and managing programs and services for the senior population. This position involves coordinating activities, advocating for senior citizens, and fostering a supportive and inclusive community environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development:
    • Develop, plan, and implement programs and activities tailored to the interests and needs of senior citizens, including social, recreational, educational, and wellness programs.
    • Collaborate with community organizations, local agencies, and volunteers to expand program offerings and resources available to seniors.
  2. Outreach and Engagement:
    • Conduct outreach efforts to identify and reach out to seniors in the community, including those who may be isolated or have limited access to resources.
    • Develop strategies to engage seniors in program participation and community involvement.
  3. Advocacy and Support:
    • Advocate for the rights and interests of senior citizens, including access to services, benefits, and resources.
    • Provide information, guidance, and support to seniors and their families on a variety of issues, including healthcare, housing, financial assistance, and legal matters.
  4. Coordination and Collaboration:
