Job description

In this role, you will own the end-to-end commercial strategy and execution for some of our largest and most impactful small kitchen appliance categories while leading and developing a team. This is more than product management-it's a highly visible leadership role where you'll drive innovation, influence cross-functional strategy, mentor and coach team members, and directly impact business growth.

You'll lead products from concept through launch, partner closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and E-commerce, and serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product strategy, positioning, and multi-year roadmap for assigned categories and brands
  • Identify market opportunities, consumer insights, and emerging trends to drive innovation and profitable growth
  • Lead new product development from concept through launch using MWCorp's Stage-Gate process
  • Build compelling business cases, including market sizing, pricing strategy, forecasts, margin targets, and competitive positioning
  • Conduct customer, consumer, and channel research to uncover unmet needs and validate product concepts
  • Partner with Engineering, Global Sourcing, and Quality teams on product design, supplier selection, feasibility, tooling, and product performance
  • Lead competitive analysis, including feature benchmarking, pricing trends, and market intelligence
  • Collaborate with Sales and E-commerce teams to align products with retailer and DTC channel strategies
  • Drive successful product launches, including launch readiness, packaging direction, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking
  • Manage existing product portfolios through lifecycle planning, SKU optimization, cost-out initiatives, and end-of-life decisions
  • Own commercial performance for assigned categories, including revenue, volume, gross margin, and portfolio contribution
  • Manage, coach, and develop assigned team members, including regular 1:1s, development plans, and performance feedback; build their Product Management skills through structured support work and by delegating small categories for them to manage under your oversight, with the explicit goal of developing them toward promotion.
