Acumentrics seeks an experienced Senior Buyer responsible for procurement and planning of supplier components and fabricated assemblies required for the company's manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Senior Buyer will work closely with various departments (e.g., manufacturing, finance, and logistics) to meet the company's purchasing needs while ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The Senior Buyer will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company's supply chain operations. This position requires a deep understanding of market trends, supplier relationships, and negotiation strategies to ensure the best value for the organization. Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically are essential for success in this role.

Senior Buyer Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 – 7+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in a senior or lead role within electronics manufacturing or a similar industry; experience with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) defense related products is a plus
