This is an opportunity to join a globally recognized, privately held industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in high-performance heavy machinery and advanced work tools. Built on a fierce culture of stability, safety, and internal promotion, this organization completely rejects rigid corporate politics, creating an environment where employee longevity is the norm.

This senior-track position is designed for a highly technical machinist who wants to escape the rigid, micromanaged environments of standard shops where operators are treated like basic "button pushers." Here, you are treated as a professional craftsman. Because the company focuses on complex, high-strength industrial builds, you will regularly tackle engaging, low-volume setups that require true technical acumen and close collaboration with internal engineering and fabrication teams. The organization protects your work-life balance with a highly flexible daytime schedule and directly rewards your skill with strong performance incentives. It is the ideal setup for a sharp specialist seeking true technical variety, unmatched corporate stability, and a secure career home.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Complex Tooling Setups: Performing complex setups and independent operations on an array of CNC and manual machines, focusing primarily on large-scale milling centers and multi-axis equipment.
  • Controller Optimization: Editing G&M code directly at the controller and optimizing active programs to safely manufacture high-precision components from high-strength steels and specialized alloys.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Interpreting complex technical drawings and geometric blueprints (GD&T) to determine exact tolerances, critical dimensions, and the optimal sequence of operations for custom builds.
  • Precision Metrology: Utilizing specialized precision measuring instruments (bore gauges, micrometers, calipers) to conduct quality checks and verify 100% part conformance to tight-tolerance standards.
  • Cross-Functional Engineering: Collaborating closely with internal engineering and fabrication teams to troubleshoot programming variables, resolve tool-path issues, and optimize cycle-time efficiency.
  • Asset Care & Safety: Maintaining equipment integrity and workstation organization through routine preventative maintenance and strict adherence to 5S safety protocols.
What We Are Looking For
  • Large-Scale Experience: Significant, verified professional experience setting up large milling centers and successfully executing close-tolerance work on massive or complex workpieces.
  • Advanced Kinematics Aptitude: Practical fluency with multi-axis configurations; active familiarity with 5-axis machining or live-tool turning centers is a major plus, though advanced internal training is available.
  • Analytical Drive: Expert-level problem-solving capability to calculate complex cutting parameters, navigate manual data input (MDI), and evaluate tool wear on the fly.
  • Employment Reliability: A rock-solid, dependable work history that demonstrates organizational commitment and multi-year tenures at previous employers; frequent job-hopping will not be evaluated.
