Job description

Summary:
The Senior Business Solutions Analyst - Supply Chain supports the Supply Chain team by turning supply, demand, and inventory data into actionable insights that improve planning accuracy, inventory performance, and decision-making. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory trends and E&O exposure, building and maintaining KPI dashboards that provide clear visibility to Planning, Procurement, Finance, and leadership, and ensuring MRP planning parameters are accurate, current, and aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate combines strong data analytics skills, hands-on Power BI and Excel capability, and practical supply chain knowledge to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support consistent, data-driven execution across the materials organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a data and analytics resource for Supply Chain Planning and Procurement through collaboration with FP&A, Operations, and IT
  • Gather data, conduct analysis, and present solutions for product line segmentation/categorization, inventory analysis, supply and demand analysis, and procurement analysis
  • Investigate root causes of excess and obsolete build-up and recommend corrective parameter or process changes;
  • Support quarterly E&O review meetings with data-backed reporting and prioritized action lists
  • Support ad hoc analyses tied to new product introductions, supplier transitions, and product line rationalizations;
  • Leverage AI tools to improve speed and efficiency; develop and maintain Power BI business intelligence tools for inventory analysis, procurement analytics, and E&O exposure
  • Design and improve KPI visuals and Power Query data models
  • Keep dashboards accurate as source data, parameters, and business definitions evolve
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership
  • Act as a primary gatekeeper for MRP parameter maintenance in Dynamics 365
  • Update core MRP parameters on monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences
  • Validate changes against historical usage, service-level targets, and supplier performance
  • Identify and correct data anomalies prior to the MRP run
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for ERP improvements to Procurement and Material Planning through sprint meetings with IT

Positional Requirements & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory analysis, or a business analyst role within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models using Power Query
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and core planning parameters including lead time, safety stock, reorder points, and lot sizing
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Python/R, and Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools is a plus
  • demonstrated experience analyzing large, imperfect datasets and translating results into practical recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling and Power Query transformations
  • Detail-oriented with strong process and documentation discipline

  • Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage recurring monthly deliverables while balancing ad hoc requests
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.
