What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing the lower-level inspectors.
  • Able to read and to interpret complex plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Word, FDOT Sites.

What your experience looks like
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) years of which shall have been in bridge construction inspection
  • Able to read and to interpret complex plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Word, FDOT Sites.
  • Applicant must have a valid driver's license and clear motor vehicle report
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work a shift schedule and/or flexible schedule as required to support the workload.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level 1
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 2 (Bridges)
