Job description

Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Construction Inspector to join our team in Indianapolis.

B&N Construction Inspector Responsibilities
  • Monitor work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction
  • Monitor contractor's operations to ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications
  • Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks
  • Provide report on assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of materials received
  • Perform on-site material testing and verification
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
  • Create and compile close out/final construction records documents for submission
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • All required jurisdictional certificates and statement requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Use of general software packages, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain all 6 INDOT Certified Technician Courses in first year of employment
